About
STATION VISIT
Station Visit (stationvisit.com) is an AI-powered firefighter oral board interview practice platform. It runs candidates through realistic mock panel interviews, scores their answers using a rubric built from real fire service experience, and delivers specific coaching on every response.
The first interview is free. No credit card required.
WHY IT EXISTS
The oral board is where firefighter jobs are won and lost. Written tests and physical ability tests are pass-fail — the oral board is where the real competition happens, and most candidates are not prepared for it.
The standard advice is to do a station visit, talk to the crew, and practice your answers. That advice is right. But one station visit is not enough practice. The interview is a skill, and skills take reps. Most candidates walk in having rehearsed answers in their head — not out loud, not under pressure, not with feedback. The panel can tell.
Station Visit was built to fill that gap. It encodes real fire service expertise into the scoring rubric — the same things an experienced firefighter looks for when sitting on a panel. The feedback is honest because it has to be. Generous scoring helps no one.
HOW IT WORKS
THE PANEL ASKS YOU QUESTIONS
A full mock oral board: intro, scenario, values, motivation, closing. A different mix every time so you are always practicing, never just repeating.
YOU ANSWER OUT LOUD
Your voice is transcribed in real time. Answer like you are sitting in front of the panel.
GET YOUR SCORECARD
Every answer scored across five dimensions. You get a number, what you did well, and specific steps to improve. The scorecard is revealed after the interview — the same way a real panel works.
